The womb that carried him now carries pain - brutal betrayal of humanity

FROM NURTURE TO VICTIM, A MOTHERS UNIMAGINABLE AGONY

A 39 year old man has been arrested for allegedly raping his 65 year old mother twice innation’s capital Delhi ( HAUZ QAZI ) claiming he was punishing her for an allegedrelationship she had in the past showing psychological disturbance and patriarchal control mindset( thinking he has the right to punish his mother for her past ). The crime has leftthe community in shock and is being described as one of the most heinous acts of betrayal and abuse of trust within a family. According to the initial police investigation, theaccused claimed he committed the crime to punish his mother for an alleged relationshipshe had in the past. The shocking justification has horrified authorities and the public likeraising serious concern about mental health, morality, and old age Women safety. 

FROM PILGRIMAGE TO A NIGHTMARE: WHEN IT ALL UNFOLDED 

The victim was living with her family her son and her retired husband and a youngerdaughter. on July 17, the women, her husband and younger daughter travelled to SaudiArabia. During the trip, the accused call his father to return to Delhi immediately. Alsoasked his father to divorce his mother and accused her of having an illicit relationshipduring his childhood. After the family returned to Delhi on August one, the accused lockedhis mother in a room, forced her to remove burqa and beat her. He allegedly told her shehad spoiled him in childhood. The woman left home and took shelter at her elderdaughter ’s residence. She returned on August 11 but the abuse continued .At around 9:30PM the accused told his family that he wanted to speak with his mother in private. Heagain locked her in a room, raped her and stated he was punishing her for her pastrelationship which shows that he was mentally disturbed on August 14, at around 3:30 AM, the accused raped her for a second time. 

SEEKING JUSTICE TOGETHER: COMPLAINT FILED WITH POLICE

The next day, the women confided in her 25 years old, younger daughter who encouraged her toapproach the police. The two went to Hauz Qazi police station and submitted a writtencomplaint based on the complaint. The police registered the case under section( 64 )of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. The accused has been arrested, and the investigation is under way. 

THE HARSH REALITIES UNCOVERED, THE LESSONS WE NEED TO LEARN

1. Mental health cannot be Ignored This incident unaddressed psychological issues can lead to unimaginable crimes. This incident shows the urgency for early mental health intervention and counselling within families. 
2. Violence has no Boundaries sexual violence is isn’t always from strangers – it can happen within homes, from the very people we trust most. This case breaks the myth of safety within family walls. 
3. Breaking silence is courage The mother’s decision to report the crime supported by her daughter, is a powerful example of bravery in the face of suicidal stick. It teaches us the importance of speaking up, no matter how close the perpetrator is. 
4. Stronger laws and social awareness are needed Incestuous sexual crimes must be dealt with strictly collection, along with campaigns to educate people about consent and family ethics, elderly victims, often face, stigma, and disbelief. This case teaches us to stand with survivors, not question the dignity or age.

She gave her life ,her care and her endless love but her motherhood got strangled in despair, a son she raised became her darkest disgrace, her care was shattered, her dignity slain, motherhood choked in pain, a soul of grace, now silenced and torn,innocence buried,and justice unborn…
